Who are We?

About Jokoh NMED (Nano Materio Engineering Division)

JOKOH CO., LTD. - Tokyo-Japan founded in 1947, now with over one hundred million Dollars in annual revenues and more than 200 employees, is a leading world manufacturer of scientific instruments for medical appliances and industrial processing equipment. It has since 2007 opened a new division Nano Materio Engineering focused on R&D, production and sales of high pressure homogenizers, based on Wet type Jet Milling technology applicable to homogenization, dispersion, reduction of particles. Such equipment line: Nano Jet Pul, JN series, have obtained considerable appreciations in the fast growing emerging field of nano-technology applications thanks to the reliable, technological advanced JOKOH’s manufacturing and R&D philosophy. The smart sales results obtained in the domestic Japanese market has led the company policy to expand the products marketing outside the boundaries, to approach new challenging market areas such as USA ,EU, and Asia. Competition, customers, and growing interest in new technology researches, stimulated the aim of the company to uphold its commitment for achieving a constant pledge to continuously improve company goals and get new products to the market!

What Are We Doing?

Today Wet type Jet Mill Division (Nano Materio Engineering Division) of JOKOH represents the new frontier of research and development of the company. Many products, have been designed and manufactured since the date of the company foundation, with restless spirit of researching new devices to satisfy the need of the most challenging customers of a scientific world rapidly changing and evolving.
At the turn of the twenty-first century, this world got a new way of looking at various applications in chemistry and physics disciplines in the field of micron submicron size particles development and new composite materials formulation so as to open the way to the need of designing new tools to downsize particles: the field of nanoscale particles had arrived!
This scientific approach suggested by JOKOH researchers to study a safe contamination-free systems, technologically advanced to comply with these requirements, was to design a Wet type Jet Mill.
The type of tool adopted by JOKOH technologists to manufacture a top class Wet Type Homogenizer able to obtain a good yield in pulverization, emulsification, dispersion of micro and nano particles, was that of employing a device where high pressure generated from the pumping system up to 200/250 MPa produces a jet liquid stream forced to pass, with particles, through “H” shaped fixed geometry micro-channels of a special diamond nozzle system such as to provide proper energy for particles collision.
Many laboratories and process manufacturing of industries belonging to the area of: electrical device, pharmaceutical, chemistry, food, cosmetics, energy, have already chosen Wet type Jet Mills- JN line, for their R&D laboratory formulations and process pilot or manufacturing projects.
As Jokoh “Consulting and Services” policy believes and suggests to customers, before to select a suitable JN model and proper working conditions, a qualified testing Laboratory is available to optimize protocol and scale up tests.
